How to write the letter H in cursive

Capital H is two down strokes from line 1 to line 3, joined by a bar at the middle. Make the first stroke, loop back up for the second, then join them. Small h is tall: stem from line 1 down to line 3, retrace part of the way up, then arch over and come down to sit on line 3.

What to watch on four-line copy

Small h is small n with a tall stem. Fix n first and h follows.
The arch of h stays inside the middle space, below line 2.
Both legs land on line 3, the same distance apart.

The mistake to correct first

The second leg of small h curling below line 3 into a tail, which makes the letter read as y. The leg stops on the base line and hooks forward, not down.
